As a Government Owned Corporation, North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation (NQBP) is committed to compliance with the Queensland Government's State Procurement Policy.

NQBP is committed to integrating sustainability practices in the procurement of goods, services and construction. All purchasing decisions are required to minimise environmental impact of goods and services over their whole-of-life. Preference in purchasing will be given to lower impact goods, where price, performance, quality and other evaluation criteria are comparable.
